User workshop on climate services for urban climate adaptation and air quality monitoring



On April 11th 2024 the 2nd user workshop on Climate Services for urban climate adaptation and air quality monitoring will take place at the German Meteorological Service (Deutscher Wetterdienst - DWD) headquarters in Offenbach am Main.

The DWD will be holding a user workshop on climate services for urban climate adaptation and air quality monitoring on April 11th 2024 in Offenbach am Main (in German language). Presentations in the morning will introduce the DWD heat warning system and the climate projection data for Germany. Both are important climate adaptation pillars for municipalities. Three further lectures will introduce applications from two Copernicus FPCUP projects that are intended to support municipalities with climate adaptation and air quality monitoring. The program will be completed by four workshops with live demonstrations and an interactive afternoon involving the potential users of our climate services to assist with the process of further development.

The workshop will take place at the DWD headquarters in Offenbach am Main. Free registration is possible until April 4th, 2024.
