31 trainers from 17 African countries took part in the 12-weeks online training programme, that was held in three languages (English, French and Portuguese), from June to November 2023.

The aim was to enhance the skills of the trainers in developing applications based on Copernicus data (see programme below) in various fields, ranging from agriculture and natural hazards to the use of these data in the health sector.

Following this training, the trainers, accompanied by their mentors, will themselves strengthen the skills of local actors (public or private sector) in areas specific to their needs.
