On the 15th and 16th of March 2022, the AD AIR Center hosted two events during Atlantic Innovation Week on Terceira Island, Azores. The first event, on the 15th, was dedicated to Ocean Monitoring and the second one, on the 16th, focused on Coastal Communities.

The events aimed to promote the use of Copernicus among various end-users, support start-ups and SMEs to develop new and innovative products to address specific challenges by showcasing successful cases of utilizing Copernicus data and services for Ocean Monitoring and Coastal Communities. Additionally, they provided hands-on demonstrations to the participating entities, highlighting specific use-cases.

On the 16th, to conclude the back-to-back sessions, participants from public and private entities engaged in a matchmaking session to discuss gaps and opportunities.
